I've recently discovered (hat tip to my friend Todd Ormsbee) a YouTube sensation named Pat Condell. Pat is a British stand-up comedian with a rapier wit who articulates better than anyone I have heard or read precisely what my views are concerning God and religion these days. Pat speaks on a variety of issues but reserves his sharpest critiques for fundamentalist Christianity, radical Islam, and the spineless "multiculturalists" who allow these insidious benighted forces to thrive in what ought to be an age of reason and enlightenment. Here are some of my favorite videos from Pat, including his latest called "Take Your God and Shove Him":
Absolutely awesome!

So, so brilliant. I've seen a few videos from this guy before, but didn't know who he was. I'll be adding him to my YouTube favorites.

He's so unapologetic--I love it. I feel like I have to hide my secular humanism. Not this guy! Haha... It must be so freeing.

Absolutely brilliant videos. I discovered them recently and sat and watched most of them in one sitting. Being American we don't have as much direct access as the Euros with Islam, but I'm right there with this guy about the dangers of appeasing an absolutist culture which gives no appeasement in return.

A stirring call to arms but unlikely to persuade anyone who did not agree with Pat Condell already.
